Eligibility Policy

SUPPORT SPEAKERS AND PRESENTERS’ ELIGIBILITY POLICY

All Speakers (General Sessions, Keynote and/or Workshops) will register under the Attendee Registration, regardless of affiliation, but may be identified as the Contact person for the Support Company. (Even if the Speaker is the sole representative for a registered Support Company, they will still be eligible to participate with full Attendee benefits.)

It is the Illinois Association of Engineering Technology Professionals’ policy to comp the IAETP Training Forum Registration fees (Workshops excluded) for ALL Speakers. All Speakers are on a volunteer basis, and it is not IAETP’s policy to provide payment for presentations. If a potential hardship exists and the Speaker requests funds, the Illinois Association of Engineering Technology Professionals board will determine a possible reimbursement plan on a case-by-case basis for expenses such as airline travel, gas, hotel or printing. Food expense is not eligible, since breakfast and lunch for each day is provided.

Support Company representatives are not permitted to participate in the door prize give-a-ways. (Support Company representatives will be identified by their Name Badge.)
